I’ve always had a soft spot for the work of Jean-Jacques Sempé [English]. I first became a fan in my Grade 11 French Class where we read some stories of Les Petit Nicholas. Other than Les Petit Nicholas, he has published many other works which I only became familiar with after my first trip to Paris. Now, during each trip, I try to bring back a book.
Too bad I didn’t have time to see this gallery showing when I was visiting Paris last year.
