Breaking News Update (March 1, 2007)
Based on Theresa’s comments, I went to look on NY Times and found that blurb that reported Fauchon will reopen post a relocation. I’m thrilled. Excellent news!

It was my favorite place to get a hot chocolate in the city when I lived there. And when I had the chance, I’d go in for a sit down tea. I look forward to trying to go each time I visit. I didn’t get a chance to go on my last trip and figured I had time. But turns out, I didn’t. It’s like when Toraya closed and I didn’t get to go one last time.
So, now I lose one more little piece of France
that was within easy reach. I think I’ll go count my coin bank and see how much I managed to save for the vacation fund. Looks like we’ll have to go all the way to Paris for our fix.

I can’t believe they closed Fauchon. Now that’s going to be the most expensive chaud chocolat ever!
