Mother’s Day Park Walk

This was what we found on our walk in High Park on Mother’s Day. First time I’ve ever seen baby birds up close. (Well, not that close…)

    Baby ducklings are so sweet. I used to have a first-floor apartment near a small creek, and the Muscovy ducks used to take a shortcut right across my patio. It used to crack me up to see eight or nine little fuzzy babies peering curiously into my living room through the glass doors… used to amuse the heck out of the cat, too, now that I think about it!
