I haven’t been working on this sweater. I’ve been working my self imposed deadline knitting project. But here’s a look on where I left off about maybe 3 weeks ago.
I like nothing better than a nice line:
This one seems even straighter in the cable than in stockinette stitch.
I’m not sure how this change of colour will work out with my sweater, but as I’m knitting it, right at the interaction of the change is my favorite portion right now.
It’s feeling like one of the longest sweaters to make. I’m sure if it wasn’t covered in cables it would have moved faster. But for now, it’s slowing moving along. To help keep my sanity, I’m doing both sleeves at a time on a long corded circular needle. I would not finish if I had to do them one at a time. This way also helps make sure they are identical.
Once I’m done with my current focus, I’m going back to those sleeves. I’d really like to have a new sweater for the Autumn.
