Snow Balls!

February 4th, 2008 by May

Past Friday, there was a snow storm here in Toronto. It was even declared a snow day for schools!

Quite a few centimetres of snow fell and it means only one thing.

Playing in the snow with Flour!

We’ve been out a few times over the weekend. Too bad the snow is getting hard and dirty. But we did manage some photos. G plays photographer this time. Here’s the photoset.

Flour loves to play in the snow. She’d run and jump and plough through show using her nose. It’s just fun. And sometimes, the snow would stick to her fur and it’s rather humorous. She hates that part though. While I don’t love snow, it does mean slightly milder weather and it’s hard to find it annoying when she enjoys it so. At least until it all becomes disgusting grey slush.

I’m going to enjoy the snow with Flour as long as it lasts.

Don’t you just love the big snow balls they get on their fur — the kind that turn to ice by the time they come in? At least Flour wears boots — by the time Daisy comes in she’s covered — and I have to use a metal comb to bash thru the snowballs to get them off — sometimes I just put her on top of the washer/dryer with towels and just make her stay there until she melts!

Enjoy it while you can — it’s melting again!!!

Oh, fun! I wish we’d get just a little bit of snow here. It is fun and pretty when it first falls and it’s all clean and white.

That day was terrible for me. I locked myself out of my bedroom at my rez (left everything inside except myself). I borrowed my friend’s jacket, token, and a small amount of $ and went home (in North York) to get my spare key.
    Worst day, worst thing…

Would be nice if it would be snowing now. Currently all we get is dirty rain…
