The Nubrella is very spacey looking. Looks like a great idea, but my question is, when it’s really windy, how does it stay on your shoulders? I can’t tell from any of the photos. I’m guessing there are straps, but I’m envisioning being strangled under the plastic by them.
I’ll be very interested in trying one out in person. Looks like they start selling in the US in the Fall (in stores) and online now. I wonder how long before it gets to Canada.

Not really sure about this though. The advantage of normal umbrellas is that you can turn it around against whichever way the rain is coming in. With this Nubrella, if the rain’s pounding in diagonally from behind, you’re going to end up with a dripping wet bum. ;-p
Um… I think I’ll stick with the old-fashioned types, thanks.
