I was trying to be more eco conscious with the choices for this gift. I wanted a cotton and was pleased to find a colour that was suitable. The yarn called for was out of my price range, and there were no source for a colour I liked, so I went for something else.
I even managed to find a more eco friendly fiber-fil (Ingeo) at Walmart of all places. It’s made with natural by-products (corn, etc), and was super nice to work with. I’ll be getting it again. The web has loads of mixed reviews about this stuff, but I found it worked well for stuffing.
Heard from Charlie’s mom that he smiled when he saw the bar. That’s all I can ask for, after all, he’s turning One! Happy Birthday Charlie!
