Yes, I spent all last night working out how to do a provincial cast on for the new shawl I planned to cast on. I wound up all the Silk Thread II into a cake without any issues. The colours look even better than in the skein. I timed it, it took 10 minutes.
Here I thought it would be today that I start work on it.
But I got reminded today that it’s coming up to my favorite time of year at one of my favorite places on the planet. I love visiting DC for the Cherry Blossom Festival.
So, in honour of the Cherry Blossom Festival, I picked up Hanami from hibernation and started working on it during lunch. So far, so good, let’s see if this lasts 
It’ll be good reminders of all the previous wonderful trips I’ve taken there.
