It was quite a lovely piece to knit. The pattern repeats were too big for me to memorize. However, after maybe 3 repeats, I was comfortable with each row enough that they did fly by after just a glance at the chart. The knitting near the end however, was a little more annoying since the rows were so long that I had to devote big chucks of time to knit it. (I don’t like to stop in the middle of a row in lace, too scary.)
The colour of the yarn didn’t work out all together as nice as I had hoped. The colours are so bright and cheerful, but somehow, when knitted up, it didn’t look as nice as it did in the skein.
Second triangular shawl finished in a row and G commented how it was “Another triangular” piece. I think he’ll be pleased to see Hanami when finished since it’s a different shape.

Oh wow. Now, I didn’t see the yarn in the skein so I can’t compare, but I think it looks really lovely. Miriam Felton writes such nice patterns.
So G is anti-triangle?
