I like to knit sock as I work through my piles of reading for my program. Mostly because it’s fairly mindless. Somehow, in my excitement to make progress as I read, I probably should have started paying attention.

Of course, I didn’t notice the massively long heel before I turned it. Of course, I probably should have noticed as well that this wasn’t even the right heel that I’m making here!
Time to rip it all. I’ll pay attention as I make the heel and look forward to getting back to the simple knitting.

Umm… it’s a great color?
I think it’s the phase of the moon. I haven’t been able to knit anything right all week.
That happens to me all the time, when I am watching TV while knitting.
