This summer, instead of playing video games, I’ve been doing a lot of reading. I guess because I was doing so much reading for school that I felt the need to play catch up. So, I was hitting the frivolous novels and cozy mysteries hard. I wasn’t quite good with keeping track of the book list, but from approximately the time my summer courses started until now, here’s the reading list in reverse order.
There was also a good number of Japanese books in translation that I borrowed from the UofT library system. Often difficult to get one’s hands on and of course available at an Academic library.
Favourite series from the list: Southern Vampire
Most intriguing and disturbing: The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Darkly Dreaming Dexter (a close second)
Funniest book: Pride and Prejudice and Zombies
Can’t wait to read the next one in the series: The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Darkly Dreaming Dexter, Southern Fatality, Southern Vampire.
It sure was fun, I can’t wait to do it again. Probably next summer.
