Francia, the sample sweater, has so far been very nice to knit for about 70% of the time. I hated making the knots (which I didn’t know from looking at the photos there were knots, thought they were bobbles) and the instructions for the neck was such as mess I know they didn’t test knit it. But I managed to get through all the knitting. So, only seaming and weaving in edges remain. And boy, there are ends. Here is a photo of the ends for front and back and collar. Keep in mind the sleeves each have about 3/4 of ends of a front. I’ll be weaving for a while!!
When completed however, I’m sure it’ll look quite nice. Here’s a photo of before and after knots. Knots on the right are secured and woven in. The one on the left is loose, gappy and awaiting the needle.
School work has not yet piled on as it’s still the first day of courses this week. I hope to be able to finish the whole thing ASAP. Sadly, won’t make it to Stitches Midwest for display.
