Yes, I spent all last night working out how to do a provincial cast on for the new shawl I planned to cast on. I wound up all the Silk Thread II into a cake without any issues. The colours look even better than in the skein. I timed it, it took 10 minutes.

I’ve just put down my needles on my most recent lace project. Once again, the bind off was the most tedious boring part of the project. I’m so glad it’s done. It’s a triangular shawl which ends on the wide side, so, once again, the piece just grew and grew as I went along.
